July 1st, 2025 – September 22nd, 2025 – Open for reservations (September 22nd, 2025 is the last night for overnight accommodations)

Just south of Rim Village and next door to the Mazama Cabins is the Mazama Campground. As you exit off Highway 62, the campground will be located on your right. Mazama Campground is perfect for tent and RV camping and provides necessary amenities to all campers. The 214 campsites each feature a picnic table, fire ring with a grill and a bear-resistant food locker.

Check-In Process for Reservations

  • Full payment is due at time of booking.  All reservations should be booked through our Recreation.gov website link: Recreation.gov – Camping, Cabins, RVs, Permits, Passes & More
  • There is no need to check-in at the store unless changes or questions are needed to be addressed with an agent.  All reservations can be modified through your reservation on Recreation.gov.
  • You must follow all posted rules of Mazama Campground.
  • At the end of your stay, please pack all belongings. 
  • There is no need for checkout. 

Amenities

Mazama Campground offers restrooms, a gas station, food storage lockers, potable water, a dump station, and showers that are available in Loop F. Camp site hookups include electricity only and full hookups. Pets are also permitted, with restrictions. Please review the pet information located on the official NPS site for Crater Lake.  Pets – Crater Lake National Park (U.S. National Park Service)  Accessible campsites are also available to reserve and are designated on our recreation.gov booking site.
 
The Mazama Camper Store is your one stop shop for all camping needs. The store has groceries, propane, firewood, and gasoline. 
 
Located in the village is the Annie Creek Restaurant and Gift Shop. You will find American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and plentiful selection of wine and local beer. The gift shop offers a wide selection of souvenirs to take a piece of Crater Lake National Park with you.
 

Additional Campsites

Crater Lake National Park’s landscape give you unlimited possibilities for backcountry wilderness exploring and camping. In the summer, with a permit, the park’s five designated backcountry campsites—Bybee Creek, Dutton Creek, Grouse Hill, Lightning Springs, and Red Cone Springs are available for camping. Dispersed camping is also allowed with a permit.  
 
In the winter, you can camp along the rim with a permit. Explore the open slopes, dense forests, and breathtaking views while snowshoeing or skiing on the trails. For more information regarding campgrounds and permits please visit the National Park Service
 

Senior Pass or Access Pass

The Senior Pass or Access Pass must be presented to campground staff upon arrival to receive the 50% discount on camping fees. The pass used should match the name of the primary occupant for the reservation. A single pass cannot be used for multiple reservations within the same time period. If a pass is invalid upon check-in, or used for two or more reservations at once, then the discounted amount will be charged to the customer during check-in.
